Hurricane weakens
Norbert weakened yesterday from a hurricane to a tropical storm after making landfall over mainland Mexico, weather officials said.
Norbert reached the mainland as a Category 1 hurricane with winds near140 kph early yesterday morning, according to the US National Hurricane Center.
