Set up in September 2007, the Jiangrun Kennel Base was originally built by a group of pet owners as a shelter for their dogs. But later they decided to expand it as both a breeding place for pedigree dogs and a resort for dogs and their owners. The Base has imported breeds such as the Welsh Corgi (Pemb) and golden retrievers. Their offspring have bagged many of the highest honors at national competitions.
