Man indicted for murder of Williams

DENVER, Colorado: A grand jury Wednesday indicted a suspect in the 2007 murder of Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams, prosecutors said.
District Attorney Mitch Morrissey announced at a news conference at the Denver Police Administration building that Willie Clark faces 39 counts - including two counts of first-degree murder - in connection with the drive-by shooting on January 1, 2007.
"An investigation shows that Willie Clark was present in the SUV (sports utility vehicle) that was used (in the drive-by shooting)," Morrissey said.
