Drug recalled
Two batches of ciwujia herbal drug produced by a Chinese firm have been recalled following the deaths of three people, local authorities said yesterday.
Batch numbers 2007121511 and 2007122721 were produced by the Heilongjiang-based Wandashan Pharmaceutical in December last year. The drug contains an extract of ciwujia, a type of Siberian ginseng.
