Uni aims at cultural center
Jishou University in the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture, Hunan province, aimed to become a center of excellence in the study of ethnic cultures based on the works of famous novelist Shen Congwen and artist Huang Yongyu, the university's vice-president, Zhang Jianyong, said at its 50th anniversary yesterday.
