Thriving festival a win-win for all its teammates

Since it started in 1998, the annual Beijing Music Festival (BMF) has been not only the highlight event of Beijing's cultural calendar but also one of the leading classical music festivals in the world.

Apart from being famed for its professional management and its star-studded international cast, BMF is also highly renowned for its efforts to promote classical music in China and so improve the cultural environment of the capital.

Yu Long, artistic director of BMF, is swift to give credit to those behind the scenes.
