Continental bridge port spearheads foreign trade

A new Eurasia Continental Bridge transport line - the first transit container train from Tianjin Port to Manzhouli - has been operational since June, making Tianjin Port the only continental bridge port with three transport lines in China.

Yu Rumin, board director of Tianjin Port (Group) Co Ltd, said that the Tianjin Port section of Eurasia Continental Bridge would serve as "the economic development link connected to the areas alongside the continental bridge" and "the bridge that pushes ahead regional economic cooperation alongside the continental bridge".

The Tianjin Port section of the Eurasia Continental Bridge is one of the major passages of China's new Eurasia Continental Bridge with Tianjin Port as the eastern bridgehead.
