A decade of strengthening ties

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between South Africa and China. Both being developing countries, China and South Africa have been sharing their development experience and forging closer trade relations over the decade.

With mutual efforts, bilateral trade hit $13 billion last year, covering mining, food processing, manufacturing, IT and tourism industries.
