Storm's death roll rises
The death toll in south China from Typhoon Hagupit rose to 10, with two still missing, as of 8 am yesterday, the Office of State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters said.
According to the office, floods and powerful winds caused by the storm had affected 8.73 million residents in Guangdong province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
