With many minority groups, Guizhou in the southwest of China has an abundance of traditional crafts and native products.
Moutai liquor, the world-renowned white spirit, is a native product with a history of more than 270 years. Made of sorghum, wheat and local high-quality mineral spring water, the liquor is often used in big occasions and State banquets. From the very first process, it takes about eight months to produce the Moutai liquor.
Bobo candy is another native product that tourists to Zhengning of Guizhou often enjoy. Made of malt and gingili flour, the snack is shaped like moving waves.
