Oktoberfest to brew bubbles of delight

Macao Oktoberfest, a Bavarian-style festival which is one of the most celebrated events in the city, will be held from November 7 to 16, coinciding with the 55th Macau Grand Prix.

There will be plenty of genuine Bavarian beer as well as German food and wine specialities served at the festival. Along with live music by an authentic German band, "the event means nothing short of unlimited fun," Macau Government Tourist Office and Mandarin Oriental hotel said in a joint announcement.

A 40-m-long Munich beer tent with room for 400 people will be erected outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
