Prison chief jailed
Xie Shoukun, deputy commissar of Wutaiqi prison in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, was sentenced by a local court to 10 years in prison and fined 50,000 yuan ($7,300) for taking bribes from inmates and their families, the Legal Daily reported yesterday.
