Up output, SASAC says

Major State-owned steelmakers should strive to increase their share of steel production to 25 percent of the nation's total in the coming years, Wang Xiaoqi, a senior official from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, said at the 2008 China Steel Merger and Acquisition Forum. Wang said the government will encourage further consolidation of China's iron and steel sector.
