New rule on school uniforms causes outcry

A high school in Wuchang district of Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, has sparked public controversy after making students buy six sets of uniforms to improve management on campus.

Some parents favor the idea, but most argue the new rule prohibits a student's right to wear what they choose. Another parent said it would be too costly to purchase six uniforms as teenagers often outgrow their clothes quickly.
