Armed police fight off herd of elephants

More than 100 armed policemen and forest workers fought against wild elephants to protect local farmland and crops in Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province.

Six elephants escaped the Shangyong Natural Reserve and entered the paddy fields of nearby villages last Sunday.
