Oui, mon cherie! Yes, you can watch enchanting French films in Beijing.

This September, the city's French Cultural Center is screening a selection of the most famous classic French films, including Belle de Jour, Donkey Skin, Comedy of Innocence, Le Poulpe and Hunting and Gathering.

The following month, the center and the French embassy will launch another silver screen festival, this time showing new animated movies from France. Many of these animated films were previously shown at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival, to rave reviews. Some highlights include The King and The Mockingbird, U, Dragon Hunters, Between Dog and Wolf, Princess of the Sun, Waltz with Bashir and Raining Cats and Frogs.
