Murderer gets death

A 42-year-old man from Jiangsu province and his 19-year-old son were yesterday sentenced to death and life imprisonment, respectively, by the Shanghai No 1 intermediate people's court, for murder. On Nov 11, Hong Guoxin, 42, hired an unlicensed woman taxi driver surnamed Chen to drive him and his son, Xu Liang, from Danyang, Jiangsu province, to Shanghai. In a motel on the way, Hong killed Chen and cut her into 20 pieces while his son was the lookout.
