Odd-Even Traffic Rule

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic and good air quality during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics, the Beijing municipal government decided to adopt the odd-even traffic rule between July 20 and Sept 20. According to this, Beijing-registered motor vehicles can be driven on roads on odd or even days according to the final number of their license plates.
