Samaritan finds no good deed goes unpunished
Farmer Xiao Daohuan, of Xunyang county, Shaanxi province, was sentenced to a year in jail and fined 2,000 yuan ($290) on Friday for stealing 2,300 yuan from a man who helped her in an emergency.
The 53-year-old passed out on the roadside on March 2 on her way to visit her daughter.
