The bold and the beautiful

The bigger, the better. That seems to be the new fashion statement on wrists, going by the new models for the coming season from famous watch brands Juvenia, Charriol and Blancpain.

Take Juvenia's Classique Specialties. Its case measures more than 40mm overall. And Fifty Fathoms, the latest offering from Blancpain, is as big as 45 mm.

With the watches getting bigger, straps are also increasing in width, with 24mm no longer uncommon. In the extreme-fashion segment, wide cuff watchbands have even staked their claim on men's watches.
