134 scalpers held

Beijing police have so far detained 134 Paralympic Games ticket scalpers near competition venues. Ninety-nine were detained in a single day.

The scalpers were caught at two entrances to the main Olympic Green and a nearby subway station, Beijing News said. They were all fined, the paper said. Beijing is set to host the best-attended Paralympics ever. The athletics and swimming events are proving very popular at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube venues.
