Thief chokes on ham during supermarket heist
A burglar surnamed Liu nearly choked to death when startled by a grocery store owner who discovered him munching pilfered hams in Dengfeng, Henan province.
The 23-year-old was sentenced to six months in jail and fined a total of 2,500 yuan ($370) on Tuesday.
