Elderly man nabs fleeing bicycle thief

Police were able to arrest a bicycle thief on Monday after he was tackled by a 70-year-old man who pursued him for more than 300 m in Wuchang, Hubei province.

The septuagenarian, surnamed Li, found three men stealing a bicycle on Yangyuan Street at noon. After shouting for help, Li immediately ran after the thieves. A former wrestler, Li grabbed one of the suspects, but the other two escaped. Police are continuing their investigation.
