Special supplement: Cultures in Qiandongnan weave a colorful tapestry

Picturesque limestone mountains, pristine rivers, unique folk customs and extraordinary architecture are all part of the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province.
More than 30 minority groups live in the prefecture that is 62 percent forest, including the Bouyei and large Miao and Dong tribes that inhabit the area around Leishan Mountain.
