They are the ones who stir the first dreams
This one surely is an interesting legacy of the Beijing Olympics. See how the Games' success has inspired the world to discover the "Chinese Dream". And, the obvious historical frame of reference is the American Dream.
I too discovered The Chinese Dream. It is the title of a book I've been reading these past few days. It is a collection of 11 straightforward, interview-based real-life stories of ordinary Chinese young men and women. They are all from humble families and achieve success in life through hard work and determination. Misfortunes and disappointments came their way, but they refused to let their dreams die.
There is a common thread running through most of the stories. All the young men and women put on record the help and inspiration they received from their schoolteachers. And, several of them want to repay the debt by setting up schools in their native places.
