Expansion of market
The only tax-free Taiwan goods market in the Chinese mainland will be expanded 10 times from 0.08 sq km to 0.83 sq km, the government of Xiamen, Fujian province, said.
The Dadeng market in Xiamen started in 1999. More than 5.5 million people have visited the market spending more than 1.8 billion yuan since then.
