Lego sales to fall as Krone advances
Lego A/S, Europe's biggest toymaker, said sales growth will slow next year as the Danish krone's advance clips gains in the US and Asia.
Revenue will rise 4 percent to 5 percent next year, compared with the 12 percent growth anticipated for 2008, Chief Executive Officer Joergen Vig Knudstorp said on Tuesday in a telephone interview.
The krone's appreciation against the British pound, the US dollar and the yen has lopped 3 to 4 percentage points off revenue growth so far this year, he said.
