Chinese engineers missing in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Two Chinese engineers have been missing in northwestern Pakistan since Friday, a Chinese embassy official in Islamabad said yesterday.

The Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Company engineers went missing on Friday after they left their base to check the company's equipment in Lower Dir district of Pakistan's North West Frontier Province.

Their Pakistani driver and security guard, too, are missing, the Chinese official said.
