Cat balks at giving up trophies for falcon fodder

Ren Jianguo, from Jilin in Jilin province, decided recently that getting a cat to catch mice for his two pet falcons would be a much cheaper alternative than feeding them beef.

The cat, however, was unwilling to give up its prey. The crafty mouser began hiding its dead booty in various nooks and crannies around Ren's home, forcing him to scour the house daily for falcon fodder.
