Rural dream of decent sports class

Many Chinese may be feeling a sense of relief, now that the Olympic flag has been handed over to Boris Johnson, the mayor of London. Seven years' hard work has come to a successful fruition.
Others may feel a certain void in their daily lives, after enjoying the excitement of the Olympic Games here in Beijing for nearly three weeks. The media is already talking about how to deal with the "Olympic syndrome", induced by staying up late and eating junk food for days.
But to me, the successful conclusion of the Beijing Olympics - with China bagging 100 medals, including 51 golds - is only one giant step toward the fulfillment of the late Chairman Mao's goal of "promoting physical education to improve the people's constitution".
