Next stop Cameroon
The central African country of Cameroon is expected to open to Chinese tour groups later this year, once a simplified visa application procedure has been adopted, according to the Cameroon Foreign Ministry.
Last year, 280,000 Chinese people visited Africa, mostly northern countries such as Egypt and Tunisia, but only 2,000 visited Cameroon, all of them on business trips, it said.
