Independent children
We should think about helping our children grow up independently, says an article in Qianjiang Evening Post. The following is an excerpt:
As we all know, people from Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, are good at starting businesses. It is probably because of their economic environment. Many of them learn about business when very young. According to a report, a 10-year-old girl from Wenzhou has been setting up a temporary stall at a local square every evening since the first day of her summer vacation. With various goods arranged on a piece of cloth on the ground, she sits on a stool waiting for customers.
Is it because the girl wants to make money so as to ease the financial burden on her parents? Or is it because she is forced to do it? Neither is true. The girl's father is doing business in Guangdong while her mother runs six stores in her hometown. The family owns two cars each costing more than 300,000 yuan. Without any doubt, this girl is a rich. Then why does she hawk on the streets?
