Embassy prepared for evacuation

The Chinese embassy in Georgia is well prepared to retreat Chinese people from the area at any time, an embassy official said.

The embassy has activated its emergency plans, including reminding all the roughly 500 Chinese people in the country to keep in touch with the embassy, get ready for possible evacuation and store up basic necessities, said You Yimao, the embassy's secretary for economic affairs.

You said the embassy will help any Chinese people who want to go back to China or to a third country with visa issues.
