CIFIT historical landmarks

1987 Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and Longyan cities jointly organized the Taiwanese investment and trade fair in Xiamen. Opened on September 8, the fair was the originator of today's China International Fair.
1991 Fujian Investment and Trade Fair was upgraded to a regional fair and began to snowball.
1997 An epoch-making year for CIFIT. Fujian Investment and Trade Fair was approved by the State Council to be renamed into China International Fair for Investment and Trade. The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation became the major organizer.
