I would think the ripple effect of the Olympics will be felt in the longer term. My colleagues and I are looking forward to the Games, which we believe will be among the best ever. Stephen Urquhart

It's exciting to see how the city has transformed itself over the past seven years, not just in preparing for the Olympics but otherwise as well. I am very impressed by what Beijing has done with the International Olympic Committee and Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games and the preparations for this event. No other event in the world brings people together in such a positive environment: fair competition, teamwork, and constant improvement.
