 Chinese grads murdered in UK

Updated: 2008-08-12 08:03 LONDON: Two Chinese graduates have been murdered in Newcastle, England. They were identified by their friends as Zhou Qian, a woman from Hunan province, and Yang Zhenxing, a man from Dalian in Liaoning province. Chen Ying, Zhou's cousin who works in Newcastle, said the two had graduated from Newcastle University, and Yang had been trying to set up his own business in the city. The two, with serious (and perhaps fatal) head injuries were found in separate bedrooms in a ground floor apartment in Croydon Road on Saturday. The Chinese embassy is following up the case.
