Big inning helps Braves defeat Diamondbacks

LOS ANGELES: The Atlanta Braves recorded seven runs in the sixth inning on their way to a conclusive 11-4 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Catcher Brian McCann had a two-run single in the big inning for the visiting Braves (55-62), and also added his 21st home run of the year in the first, along with four RBIs.

Shortstop Yunel Escobar finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Atlanta, who scored 11 runs against Arizona for the second consecutive game.
