Special supplement: EnGro continues mainland expansion

As a leading slag-cement producer in Singapore, EnGro Co Ltd has made a strategic move into eco-friendly building materials to realize its prospects for sustainable development.

In November 2007, EnGro was awarded approval to use the "Green" label by the Singapore Environment Council. With the award, EnGro's VCEM brand ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBS) and brands of blended cement were acknowledged as eco-friendly building materials.

The group has strengthened its supply chain since 2005 by leveraging its GGBS joint venture production center in China with its Pulau Damar Laut bulk-terminal and logistics services.
