Youth camp tops final leg of relay

The Olympic torch relay completed its final 7.9-km leg to the Bird's Nest yesterday.
The first of the 140 runners that passed through Fangshan, Mentougou, Daxing, Yizhuang and Haidian districts, started out at 7:00 am yesterday from the Zhoukoudian Museum at the Peking Man World Cultural Heritage Site.
The torch arrived at Yizhuang at 10:40 am and continued its journey from the economic and technological development area, where a massive crowd had gathered to cheer its welcome.
