Stranded herb collector rescued from mountain

Firefighters rescued 90-year-old Chen Guihua on Thursday from a mountain in Liuzhou, the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, where he had been stranded for more than 16 hours.

Two fire engines and 12 fire fighters went immediately to the scene after receiving a report at 11:52 pm on Wednesday from Chen's daughter and son-in-law. It took them 40 minutes to move him to safety.
