Century of academic experience
The Academies Australasia Group of Colleges in Sydney, the flagship operations of Garratt's Ltd, offers a century of experience as it meets the standards and strict financial reporting regulations required by the Australian Stock Exchange.
Thousands of students from more than 85 countries have enrolled at colleges that make up the group: an English language school (Academy of English), a senior high school (Australian International High School) and four vocational colleges (Academy of Social Sciences, Australian College of Technology, Clarendon Business College, and Supreme Business College). The group also offers programs overseas, including China.
Chairman and Managing Director Christopher Campbell said he is very proud of the wide range of courses offered by the school - including general English, EAP and IELTS preparation, school years 11 and 12, accounting and financial services, business management, information technology, marketing, travel and tourism - and the many Chinese students who have benefited from the group's diverse student population.
"The arrangements we have with many universities enable our graduates to save both time and money when they go on to degree programs," Campbell said.
According to Campbell, the group will continue to ensure that students from China will receive top-quality instruction. "Our senior staff includes Chinese so we are confident that we understand what students from China and their parents want to achieve, and their needs while in Australia," he said.
The group's partners in China include Tianjin Radio and TV University and Beijing Normal University.
