Surrogate dog-mother nurtures lambs lovingly

Guo Tinggui took two lambs to his house on the outskirts of Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, last July with the idea of using them to keep the weeds and grass around his house neatly cropped.

As he did not think to feed them milk, his 7-year-old bitch stepped naturally into the breach and suckled the lambs as she would pups of her own.
