A former intern for CNN.com International traveled across China in June, including her hometown of Chenghai, witnessed celebrations in Chinese cities ahead of the Summer Games and found China's great changes.
Ying Ying Joyce Choi said she returned to the Chinese mainland with her friend and visited 24 cities and villages in eight provinces by flight, bus and train.
