Big response to contest

Overseas Chinese living in 205 countries and regions have sent more than 450,000 articles, photos and DVDs in a contest to commemorate the opening of the Olympics Games in their motherland, the organizing committee of the contest, said yesterday.

Sponsored by State Grid, the contest ended yesterday. Hundreds of the articles have been published or will be put on display.
