Heilongjiang blessed with rich resources

Located in the central region of Northeast Asia and at the northeastern tip of China, Heilongjiang lies at higher latitudes compared with all other provinces of China. It is named after the largest of the border rivers between Russia and China - the Heilong River.
Heilongjiang has a border of 3,045 km, with the northern and eastern regions of the province facing Russia across the Heilong River and the Wusuli River; covering an area of 454,000 sq km.
Heilongjiang ranks sixth in size among China's provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and accounts for 4.7 percent of the country's total land area. In terms of land utilization, Heilongjiang is first in the country.
