Farmer Yang Delu relocated his residence to make way for the Olympic venues four years ago but now he's back with a museum that promotes the rural culture of his village.
"These are wooden shoemaking moulds used by senior women in the village in the past; this is an wooden club used by my mother for washing clothes; this is an old water pot made by bung oil (China wood oil)," the former resident of Wali Village said.
Covering 10,000 sq m, the museum, named "Olympic-Wali Native Land Museum," displays 500 pieces of farm tools, such as spinning wheels, machine tools for making noodles, hand mallets and mortar for pounding garlic into paste.
