Danish ballet soiree

Since it opened last December, Beijing's new National Center for the Performing Arts has drawn the world's leading ballet companies to its stage.

Now another prestigious company, the Royal Danish Ballet, will make its debut appearance at the venue.

The company will perform its trademark repertoire, including La Sylphide and the third act of Napoli, on August 9 and 10. Both productions exemplify the essence of Danish ballet tradition.
