Girl offers 5 years' work for father's medical fees

Liu Jun, a college student in Chongqing municipality, has offered to work at no salary for a five-year period in return for payment of her father's life-saving medical treatment.

Liu explained in a BBS that her father had been diagnosed in 2004 with leukemia but, saying nothing, had continued working hard to support the family and pay her schooling. When Liu found out about the illness, and that more than 200,000 yuan ($29,000) is needed to treat it, she decided that after graduating she would sell five years of her working life to pay her father's medical fees.
