Updated: 2008-07-23 07:30 Five people kidnapped Republic of Korea (ROK) President Lee Myung-bak yesterday called for safe return of five nationals kidnapped by unidentified men in Mexico. Lee instructed his aide to "make utmost efforts for quick and safe return" of the kidnapped victims. The victims - four men and one woman - were seized by unidentified men in Mexico and the gunmen demanded a $30,000 ransom in return for their freedom, according to an official from the National Intelligence Service.
