Hospital head on trial

Yang Zhiyi, the former president of Loudi Central Hospital in Loudi, Hunan province, went on trial on Monday for allegedly taking bribes totaling 4.5 million yuan ($660,000).

Yang, 44, is accused of taking bribes relating to the purchase of medical equipment and construction bidding.
